COVID-19

We have reduced the number of bedrooms to just two to help with social distancing, and have both been vaccinated and had our booster.  We will expect our guests to have had the same.

We do lateral flow tests if we have any signs of any infection. We have both had Covid-19 in the last 6 months.

We may decide to close if the risks to us and our guests become too great.

We are adopting the following policy:-

We do now provide the daily room cleaning service but surfaces in communal areas cleaned  daily and rooms ventilated, but if you are concerned we can stop doing room service.

Guests will not be allowed to come and stay if they have been unwell, display Covid symptoms, or have been in close contact with anyone who has had Covid-19 within 7 days of arrival.

We would ask guests staying for to observe social distancing and you may wish to  wear face masks in public areas such as the hall and stairs, and may ask if we do the same.

We have prepared a risk assessments which we can email guests if they want to see our precautions. Hand sanitisers are provided in public area

The ferries are no longer offering stay in your vehicle sailings but we recommend going outside on the top decks to enjoy the fresh air, but you may wish to  wear a mask  inside passenger lounges.

Most attractions will expect to be opening  but some by pre booking so please check. Some restaurants and pubs, such as our local village pub, are not able to meet social distancing requirements and may only serve drinks or provide outside seating.. We may wear a mask when serving breakfasts, and it would be helpful for guests to give a breakfast order the previous evening

If there is a change in policy or if you cannot come due to the need to isolate we will refund in full any ferry and deposit monies.
